As in the fashion of many of the finest Italian traditions, I made my first frame in a garage in 1974. By 1977 the BASSO trademark was registered, production expanded rapidly and had moved into the historic factory in Caldogno. In 2012 BASSO will celebrate 35 years of success.
Since 2002, we have produced bikes in the new plant north of Vicenza, 60 km north-east of Venezia and only 10 km from the historic company Campagnolo. It’s located in a magnificent area where you can ride on secondary roads and green hills, and pass between ancient Palladian Villas and vast landscapes.
