In line with our philosophy of never accept compromise, we are determined to give the Basso collection a standard of comfort and security above any other brand on the market.

To achieve this, we use a simulator machine called “Taylor Bike” which takes the anthropomorphic measures of the cyclist on special scales; then it compares those with the data files contained in the Basso Taylor Bike computer program and suggests the size of frame in combination with the most suitable size of accessories such as stem, handlebar and crank. The comparison with the data base is important to avoid geometry errors that could result in a bicycle that is difficult to handle, and therefore dangerous. Likewise, ensuring the correct component sizing is also essential in achieving maximum efficiency, as much as it is the geometry of the frame.

In the “Taylor Bike System” centres our dealers check the setback of the saddle, the vertical axis knee-pedal distance, saddle and handlebar height using dimes and gauges that let you determine the size needed to optimize the distribution of body weight on the bike, thus allowing you to use to extract the maximum potential from your custom Basso bike.
