Tell us a bit about how you got involved into cycling and how is your approach to cycling now.

I started cycling as rehabilitation after breaking my left femer back in 2008. I quickly became addict and stopped karting to focus more on cycling as I had started racing xc mountain bike in my home town of Darwin. After two years of racing xc, I moved  to  Melbourne in 2013 for university, where I ended up taking up road racing over xc. I'm now in my second year of road racing, and first year of cyclocross which I'm really enjoying. I enjoy the social side of cycling as much as I enjoy the competition side, there is always a perfect balance between racing, training and social riding.

What Basso bike are you riding now (model, color, groupset, wheels).

I currently ride a 51cm Diamante in black and Yellow colour way. It's built with campagnolo super record eps, 3t aeronova LTD bars and Reynolds assault wheels.

Describe the bike in 3 words.

What do you like about your Basso bike?

I love my Basso Diamante, it's one of the best bikes I've ever ridden. The bike gives me great confidence to push the limits with agile handling and great stability. Then there is the acceleration, the bike is so responsive to every pedal stroke that it blows me away every time I go to sprint. To sum it up, it rides as good as it looks.
