In Germany, at what has become the cycling world’s most prominent industry show, the Basso Diamante SV recieved yet further confirmation of what many already know, recieving the award of Finest Race Bike of the year. The prestigious and highly respected German publication of Tour Magazine, seen as one of the leading authorities and most influential magazines in our industry, took advantage of having a large portion of the cycling world under one roof to speak about the current state of cycling in addition to announcing the winners of their extensive reader survey in various categories. With professional atheltes, industry icons, influencers, tv personalities and more present the editorial staff presented the results of a survey that takes into account nearly twenty thousand readers’ opinions on a wide range of topics and products.


The Tour Magazine editorial staff, after much anticipation and before a packed audience at the Friedrichshafen Aviation Museum auditorium, announced the winners of various categories in which the Basso Diamante SV claimed the title of Best Roadbike of the Year for 2019. The title fills the “Famiglia Basso Bikes” with pride as it underlines the fact that the hard work and passion put into producing, in house, in Italy, a bike that represents our 40+ years of experience culminated into one frame… is capable of competing, and winning amongst huge multinational companies with great products.
