Simpson Mag visits the BassoBikes HQ

Simpson Mag visits the BassoBikes HQ
"If Italian bike brand Basso was a stick of rock - the type that every seaside town has in its souvenir shops - ‘Italy’ would be the word running through its entire length. Of the many factory visits we’ve experienced in Italy’s industrial heartland, none retain such a pure essence, such ‘Italian-ness’ as this company. Every part of every bike is homegrown."

This is how the Simpson Magazine article about their visit to our headquarters in San Zenone Degli Ezzelini, near Bassano, begins.
An intimate and detailed description of our way of working and why we do it according to some fundamental values, always guided by a boundless passion for the world of bicycles.

A welcome visit, by extremely competent friends with whom we share the joy and privilege of being able to work in the cycle sector, and which ended as best it could for a fan: with a ride on Monte Grappa, the iconic cycling monument that overlooks the territory in which our company is located, riding our top of the range product, the new DIAMANTE SV.

Enthusiastic reviews can be seen from the article:

"From our very arrival at Basso HQ, all views from the boardroom were dominated by the vast profile of Monte Grappa, the iconic climb and Giro favourite since 1968. Where better to test the abilities of both bike and rider than this majestic yet foreboding mountain scape?"

and

"Our weapon of choice, the Basso Diamante SV, remained alien to us for a matter of seconds before every riding sensation started falling into place."
