Toronto Hustle Crush Covid Recap | Basso Bikes Shop

CRUSH COVID is the fundraising activity organized by Brad Bradford and the Basso sponsored  Toronto Hustle Team, (which encourages cycling, develops talents and advocates for safer roads) held between 24 and 25 April in the formula of a 24-hour marathon upon the Zwift platform.

In addition to the donations received through registration for the event, it was also possible to donate during the virtual race. The amazing sum of over $ 200,000  was raised as a result of the team’s efforts and the entire amount will be donated to Michael Garron Hospital.

A result that exceeded all expectations, underlining the generosity of passionate cyclists and non-cyclists alike.

During Saturday, the CRUSH COVID event attracted a great deal of attention on social media and even on several occasions, supporters positioned themselves outside Bradford's house to encourage and applaud him.

At the end of the marathon, congratulations came from all over the city and from the country, including a Tweet from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
“Hey Brad Bradford, congratulations on an extraordinary result! What you have done for our healthcare professionals is inspiring: they definitely deserve it. Thanks to you and your team for doing their best to reach CRUSH COVID, "said Trudeau's Tweet.

An event in the event, the spectacular endurance challenge of Travis Samuel, who broke the Guinness World Record of the greatest distance covered in 24 hours on Zwift with the incredible distance of 1008 km made the event all the more special and memorable. His record exceeded the previous record of 988 km and was done entirely atop his Basso Diamante SV.

Congratulations to all the crew from Team Toronto Hustle for their success and the success of the event.
