It has been a great weekend of racing for our teams with a wonderful win of Bart Van Damme of the Grinta! Granfondo team. He did an amazing job at Le Tour du Mont Blanc, one of the toughest bike race in the world. He covered 330km with an elevation gain of 8000 meters in 11 hours and 39 minutes, leaving nothing to his contenders. An incredible performance in collaboration with his Basso Diamante.

The belgian young guns from VL-Technics-Experza-Abutriek cycling Team raced in the most important four-stages race in the U23 panorama, the "Giro della Valle d'Aosta". They fought and tried their best in this difficult race, climbing all day long the roads of Valle d'Aosta under a hot sun. Their faces after the finish line of the second stage say it all.
Unfortunately Julian Mertens, the best climber in the team, did not finish the race. Anyway it was a great opportunity for our belgian guys to test their level with the top conteders in the U23 class and also to race in Italy, one of the best country for cycling races.
At the end Nicolas Verougstraete was the best placed of the team in 25th place.

We are happy to announce that Emanuel Piaskowy and Paweł Franczak from Team Hurom will take part in the Tour de Pologne, a World Tour race. On this special occasion they will use the Diamante 40th Anniversary Edition and we will be in Poland to report everything. We believe that this bike will take the style and bikeporn to the next level and we are excited to see these guys riding hard against the best cyclists in the world.
